More drilling for Red Rabbit

2nd Feb 2012

LONDON, Feb 2 – Ariana Resources has scheduled further drilling as its exploration continues to increase the scope and potential of its Red Rabbit gold project in western Turkey.

The drilling will target the wider Kiziltepe area, which demonstrates potential for additional economic vein systems to feed into the Red Rabbit resource of 448,000oz gold equivalent.

Deep drilling is also planned at Kiziltepe to determine the long-term underground potential of the project.

With its focus on epithermal gold-silver and porphyry copper-gold deposits in Turkey, Ariana is confident of securing several areas in the next round of exploration licence auctions by the General Directorate of Mining Affairs starting in February.
