Ventnor sharpens Thaduna picture
20th Feb 2012
PERTH, Feb 20 – Ventnor Resources’ production scenario for its Thaduna/Green Dragon copper project near Meekatharra in Western Australia is clearer after obtaining high-grade near surface intersections close to its primary target.
Phase 3 drilling highlights at the Green Dragon prospect are 10m at 6.82% from 34m including 6m at 10.96% from 37m; 7m at 4.43% from 75m including 5m at 6.07% from 80m; 19m at 3.33% from 63m including 12m at 5.07% from 64m; 7m at 4.33% from 88m including 5m at 5.93% from 88m; and 29m at 2.22% from surface including 9m at 4.00% from surface.
Green Dragon is 4km from Ventnor’s primary project at Thaduna, ideally situated to provide high-grade supplementary feed stock early in the production scenario.
Following Phase 4 drilling now under way, Ventnor aims to release a JORC-compliant resource estimate by June.
